BOMA

"We are changing the way an association thinks and acts. We are securing opportunities for our membership that individual companies might not be able to find on their own."

CB Richard Ellis

"Your program not only produced rebates, but it led to many projects that otherwise wouldn't have happened. You helped us quantify the opportunities and then guided us through to their completion."

California Energy Commission

"As a result of BOMA’s and EIG’s efforts, BOMA members engaged in a wide variety of energy projects that reduced peak period demand by 17,000 kilowatts."

Trade Association Energy Program

Energy is a major concern of your members. Playing a meaningful role in helping your members further cut energy costs and quality for special rebates is a valuable tool to attract members.

Innovative, big picture strategy

EIG guides companies with an innovative, big-picture strategy of “what is possible” to further reduce energy costs beyond the conventional approaches typically used by companies to become more energy efficient. The latest advances of traditional and emerging technologies are the cutting edge piece of EIG’s comprehensive energy savings strategy.

The energy savings potential

Additional energy savings of 8% to 12% are being achieved for facilities that are already highly efficient. But, savings can often range from 25% to 50% for facilities that have not yet effectively engaged in energy efficiency.

Special grants and utility incentives

Companies can qualify for special incentives through EIG contracts with utilities to significantly reduce project cost to result in an extraordinary 30% to 100% return on investment with a full recovery of investment from energy savings generally of 12 to 36 months. This can result in a material reduction in net operating cost and a significant increase in capitalized property value.

One-stop, single-source service

To assure maximum results and effectiveness, EIG provides a “one-stop”, single source, turnkey program to develop, manage, and implement innovative and comprehensive energy strategies for companies, secure rebates and arrange project financing. This program encompasses:

  • a no-cost review of technology opportunities in your member facilities.
  • An Opportunity Report of potential savings, costs, and available rebates.
  • Coordination of projects from planning through completion, securing rebates, arranging financing, documenting savings, and commissioning.
